Staff Star: Megan Smith

Megan is a great example of a genuine and selfless servant who truly loves to serve. Growing up at Mariners and serving as a summer assistant, Megan has served in many different capacities within the children’s ministry. The Children’s and Family Team is blessed to get to work with someone who is so capable at her job and brings joy and laughter to those around her. Those who know her know how much fun she makes work.

Megan is organized, reliable and takes initiative to make sure to care for and communicate with our teaching and worship volunteers. She is able to handle deadlines with ease and stressful situations with grace and a sense of peace. Her heart for others and for the Lord is evident in every conversation with those she ministers to, and she consistently shows her love and passion for ministry and how God has called her to serve. She is a wonderful Christ-like example to the many children who have gotten to know her over the years. She is such a gift to our ministry, and we are fortunate to have her on our staff!
